Overview
Machining for forged parts
Vikrant Forge Pvt. Ltd. (est. 1985) has run its own machine shop since 1994 and added high-precision machining in 2012. The shop finishes the shafts, wheels, rolls and rings we forge: CNC turning and turn-mill centres, heavy-duty lathes and vertical turret lathes, boring, milling, drilling and broaching machines, 4-axis HMCs and VMCs, and a coordinate measuring machine for inspection.

FAQ
Buyers ask
What is the largest part Vikrant Forge can machine?
Long parts up to Ø450 mm and 6,000 mm long (5,500 kg), and circular parts up to Ø1,400 mm and 450 mm thick (2,500 kg).
What tolerances do you hold?
Grade-6 with a 0.8 µm surface finish and 10–20 µm geometrical accuracy on long parts; Grade-7 with 1.6 µm and 20–40 µm on circular parts.
How many machines do you have?
More than 100 machine tools, including CNC turning and turn-mill centres, heavy-duty lathes, vertical turret lathes, boring, milling, drilling and broaching machines, and 4-axis HMCs and VMCs.
How are machined parts inspected?
On a Hexagon GLOBAL Lite coordinate measuring machine, with material tests in our NABL-accredited laboratory.
What should I send for a quote?
Your drawing (PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP, JPG or PNG, up to 8 MB), the quantity and the steel grade. The quote form goes straight to our sales team at [email protected].
Need large parts machined?
Send your drawing and quantity. The form opens with "Request a quote" selected and goes straight to our sales team.
